Another gem of a family snapshot. The photo was taken July 31st 1917 at Saltair Beach. All Dad's side of the family. Details from the back of the card: 2nd row center - lady with glasses - Alice Vince Pinborough. 2nd row Hilda E. Pinborough - far right holding Walter H. Pinborough. Front row - John V. Pinborough at far right.
In an old steamer trunk - we also found what we believe is the swimsuit that Alice was wearing in this photo.

The NRA Blue Eagle label dates from 1933-1935 only. It was a voluntary program covering many consumer goods and was initiated by FDR. It was declared unconstitutional in 1935. This is the famous ‘Blue Eagle’ Label, seen only 1933-35 in USA.

These sweet vintage hats belonged to my grandmother (b1896-d1984). They were stored in boxes from The Paris, a department store that was located in Salt Lake City, UT and operated from the late 1800's until the late 1960s. (The images of the Paris Department store I found online but have been unable to find the original photographer's name to give them credit.)
