Dad was pretty thrilled to discover a box of toy cap guns from the 1930s & 1940s he'd stashed away in the garage. It was only a matter of minutes before he started firing off a few cap rounds and laughing like he was ten again.
1940s Kilgore The American #105 Toy Cap Pistol in Original Box
From what I've learned this is one of the most famous cast iron guns. It has a beautiful eagle embossed grip. Kilgore of Westerville, Ohio, was one of the largest makers and sellers of quality toy cap guns in the first half of the 20th century.

1940s Hubley Champ Cast Iron Toy Pistol with Original Box
All Original from what we can tell. Colt logo on the grip.The Hubley Champ was modeled after the 1911 Colt.45 by John Browning. Hubley was from Lancaster PA and started in 1894.
